Travis Scott and fragment design surprised us with a joint collab recently, in which t-shirts, sweaters, pants and jackets were also dropped - some pieces even feature KAWS motifs!

The clothes were released alongside the Travis x fragment Jordan 1 shoes during the summer. The common feature of the t-shirts that appeared in the drop is the vintage, worn effect, which is further strengthened by the stenciled/graffiti/splattered motifs and patterns, as well as the colors used.

Each piece has the laid-back style of Travis / Cactus Jack stuff, and Fragment's lightning logos can be found everywhere. And on those pieces where KAWS participated, of course, the figures that are so typical of the brand are in the center.

Travis Scott probably needs no introduction and you have already read about KAWS on the True to Sole blog , and below you can get to know the fragment design a little better!

The fragment design

You have seen the sleek, lightning logo of fragment design on many collab models - actually only on collaborations, because as unusual as it sounds, the brand marked by the name of Hiroshi Fujiwara does not have its own products.

Fujiwara is often called the "godfather of streetwear", with a career spanning more than 40 years. He was influenced by the London punk scene of the eighties and was present at the rise of hip-hop in New York. Western music also influenced him, he was Japan's first freelance DJ. Fujiwara was instrumental in bringing Western style to the Land of the Rising Sun and was also an inspiration for Virgil Abloh. In the nineties, he dedicated his time to the GOODENOUGH brand, then fragment design became his main project, the name of which he "found" in the dictionary, and he took his lightning logo from one of his earlier projects called Electric Cottage.

Fragment design created its first collab with Nike in 2010, and the collaboration has been ongoing ever since. This was followed by collaborative brands such as Moncler , Levi's , Louis Vuitton, Beats or even Maserati .
