After the success of the 'Banned' Jordan 1 shoe, Nike's design team concentrated even more on basketball shoes: in 1985, the Dunk model was introduced. In addition to the color scheme similar to the AJ1, it appeared in many other versions, including in the 'Be True To Your School' series in the colors of long-standing American universities. Although the Nike Dunk remained a popular shoe both on the basketball court and on the street, the real renaissance was brought about by skateboarders in the early 2000s. The durable Dunk SB, fully suitable for skateboarding, has also been part of many collaborations: interesting, even extreme versions appeared, and this trend really picked up in 2020!
