We guarantee that you will only find legit and authentic sneakers at the True to Sole store and webshop.
We purchase only original sneakers from our extensive and reliable partner network, which can be documented and traced back to the first sale by an authorized distributor.
Our experienced team inspects each shoe that arrives to us before appearing in the store and on the webshop.
This process makes sure only authentic sneakers are available in our selection.
You have the opportunity to have the shoes inspected by an external expert (at your own cost) before purchasing them. Ask the store team for more details!
True to Sole is a resell store and webshop where you can find limited and highly sought-after sneakers. These limited sneakers are usually sold out at official distributors and brand stores on the day of their release.
We procure these items at a higher price, i.e. at a resell price, and then make them available to our customers at True to Sole's own margin.
We provide an accessory warranty and guarantee for the products we sell in accordance with the laws in force - these correspond to the commonly used term "warranty".
The sneakers available at True to Sole - although of course original, brand new and never used - are considered used products legally due to the way they are sold.
Therefore, we provide a one-year accessory warranty: if you return them during this period due to a defect that is proven to have occurred due to a manufacturing mistake when used as intended, we will handle it accordingly. You can find detailed information about this in sections 9 and 10 of our GTC.
You can also find used (preowned) products at True to Sole. This information is indicated on the price tag in the store and in the product description on the webshop.
Please inspect these products thoroughly before purchasing (or in case ordering from the webshop after you have received them), as we will not be able to accept a complaint for them later. These products have a one-year accessory warranty.
New products
are not covered by a warranty below the purchase price of HUF 10,000, these products have a two-year accessory warranty. Every sneaker available at the True to Sole store and webshop is inspected individually by our team of experts. We guarantee to provide authentic sneakers.
However, we are unable to provide this service for shoes intended to be purchased/purchased elsewhere.
SHOPPING AND PAYMENT
All products listed on the webshop can be ordered, but not all of them are available in our Budapest store.
For products that are not available in the store or not in all sizes, a note is included in the product description.
The products listed on the webshop are in our warehouse in Budapest (some products are out our foreign warehouses).
After submitting the order, we always check the actual availability of the product. With any webshop, we may sometimes experience discrepancies or unexpected stock shortages on rare occasions.
Therefore, we will officially confirm your order, if the product can be delivered with 100% certainty.
Most of the shoes in our store can be tried on - with the exception of special and very limited sneakers.
We want to give you a size test option, and at the same time we want to ensure that the shoes you buy remain in perfect condition. Therefore, please always consider the requests of our team (e.g. how to tie or put on the shoe, whether you are allowed to walk in it, etc.)
You can find a size chart displayed for each shoe, including the measured sole length to ensure you know what size is right for you.
You will also find information on sizes in the description. If it is true size, you will see TTS/True to Size displayed.
If "runs large" is displayed it means you should order half /one size smaller than what you would usually order. If "runs small" is displayed it means the opposite, you should order half/one size larger!
If you ordered the shoes online and they are not the right size, you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receipt and we will refund the full purchase price. It is very important that you just try on the shoes and do not use them!
Our prices are influenced by the supply and demand of the global sneaker market. The demand for some sizes are higher, causing the purchase prices to be also be higher. This is the reason of the difference between the price level of various sizes of the same sneaker.

The prices of some sneakers may change several times within weeks, and some prices may remain unchanged for months.
It is also possible for the price of some sizes to change, whereas the price of other sizes may remain unchanged.
If we confirmed your order or you accepted the price quotation for a pre-order, the price for your order won't change (even if the price in the store/webshop changes during the fulfillment of your order).
Prices are displayed in HUF on the webshop. Prices can also be displayed in EUR and RON for information purposes only. Our actual exchange rates apply.
During checkout and confirmation, prices are always displayed in HUF.
You can pay for your order by credit card through Stripe. All transactions are encrypted and secure. True to Sole does not access or store your bank account and card information.
For card payments your card will be charged in HUF. If the currency of your account is other than HUF, your bank will charge you in your currency, their actual exchange rates will apply.
If you choose Cash on Delivery payment, in Hungary you can pay in HUF in cash to the courier. In Romania you pay the price displayed in RON on the webshop, plus shipping costs to the courier in RON in cash. In Slovakia you pay in EUR cash and in Czechia you pay in CZK cash to the courier.
Actual exchange rates are displayed on the main page footer on our webshop.
You can pay with cash and card at the True to Sole store.
An electronic invoice is issued and sent via email for each webshop order. The amount of VAT is displayed on the invoice.
For in-store purchases please tell the staff prior to payment if you would like to get an invoice. You will need to provide your email address, business name and tax number (or EU VAT number) and an electronic invoice will be sent to you.
Important information for businesses:
If you want the invoice to be issued for your company please enter a Business Name and EU VAT number in the respective Billing Address fields during checkout.
Important information for reclaiming VAT: Due to the nature of resell net and gross amounts being equivalent (0% VAT) and "árrés adózás" (margin scheme) remark is displayed.
Language of the invoice is Hungarian.
If you like a pair of shoes from our selection but they are not in your size, you can place a pre-order request and we will try to purchase it for you.

Shipping to a Hungarian address above the order value of HUF 30,000 is free of charge, orders that do not exceed the value of HUF 30,000 will be delivered for a shipping fee of HUF 1,490.

Orders are usually delivered within 2-9 working days. This can vary depending on the shipping address and the date of the order. You will be notified when your order is handed over to our delivery partners.
Please note: if your order is shipped from one of our foreign warehouses the delivery time can be longer (up to 14 working days) due to customs clearance.
For pre-orders, we give you an estimation for the delivery time of the requested product.
When ordering sneaker sizes, clothes and accessories where you see the "48H EXPRESS SHIPPING" sticker you can be sure we will pack and deliver them to the courier service within 48 hours. You don't have to ask for this separately - we are committed to having your order delivered as soon as possible!
Please, pay attention to which sneaker sizes the "48H EXPRESS SHIPPING" option applies!

Our partner, the GLS courier service, delivers the parcels most of the time already the next day in Hungary, and usually within two days in Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
For example, if you order a product where you see the "48H EXPRESS SHIPPING" sticker on a Tuesday to an address in Hungary, you will most likely receive it on Thursday, but certainly by Friday!

AFTER SUBMITTING THE ORDER
You can cancel the products ordered in the webshop within 14 calendar days of receipt without giving a reason, this is your right of withdrawal provided by the applicable laws.
You can email your cancellation request to support@truetosole.hu, please provide your order number. You can return the product at your own expense and responsibility. The details will be sent in the confirmation of withdrawal, be sure to wait for this before returning it.
Under no circumstances should you wear/use the ordered product, because we can only give a full refund for a product that is not worn and is in a condition suitable for resale.
If you cancel your order, please do so as soon as possible, preferably before shipping, so that packing and shipping no longer takes place.
You can find all the information about the withdrawal in point 6 of our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
If you ordered the shoes online or you were not present in the shop when you bought them (for example they were a gift), we will refund the full purchase price within 14 days of receipt of the shoes or within 14 days of the purchase in the shop.
It is very important that you do not wear the sneakers because we can only exchange sneakers in new condition that have not been used (at most tried on once indoors)!

For any quality complaints, please write an e-mail to support@truetosole.hu, in which you describe the error, send a picture, write the date of purchase and the number of the order or invoice/receipt.
You can also bring the defective product back to the store, bring the original invoice / receipt with you.
